Elizabeth/Tony Perona

IWW member since 1994, Tony Perona is an author and editor in the mystery genre. His credits include the Nick Bertetto mystery series and, with his daughter Liz Dombrosky, the Bucket List Mystery Series. He also writes short stories, one of which (“The Ear Witness,” also written with his daughter Liz) was an Honorable Mention for The Best Mystery Stories of the Year 2021 edited by Lee Child. Though not typically a writer of standalone novels, he co-authored the thriller The Final Mayan Prophecy with producer Paul Skorich.

As an editor, Tony has been involved with the anthologies Racing Can be Murder, Hoosier Hoops & Hijinks, Trick or Treats: Tales of All Hallows’ Eve, and Amber Waves of Graves.

Tony is a longtime member of Sisters-in-Crime and its Indianapolis-based local chapter, Speed City, which he currently serves as Treasurer. He is also a longtime member of Mystery Writers of America (MWA), where he has served the Midwest Chapter as vice president and then president, and of the National Board where he served as an at-large member and as Treasurer.
