Joyce K. Jensen

One of the founding members of the Indiana Writers Workshop, Joyce K. Jensen is a freelance writer and award-winning visual artist. She earned an English/writing degree with Highest Distinction from Indiana University, and has worked as a journalist, editor, and arts and business writer.

 

Her short stories have appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Amazing Stories, two books in the Twisted Tails series and other publications. Her prize-winning watercolors have been featured in several books and magazines, including her essay, “Making Colors Pop”, illustrated with her artwork, in International Artist Magazine.

 

She is currently at work on a political science fiction trilogy based on a quote from Thomas Paine’s Revolutionary War pamphlet, Common Sense: “We have it in our power to make the world over again.”
