Mark Alan Lee

Indianapolis based photographer and writer Mark A Lee cared for each of his parents towards the end of their lives and blogged about his experiences. He is currently writing a book called “Raising Dad” about when he cared for his father who had both Alzheimer’s and emphysema.

In 2015 Mark had the first LGBTQ+ photo exhibit at the Indiana Historical Society. It covered thirty years of Queer history in the Indianapolis area. “A Visual Journey: From AIDS to Marriage Equality” has since been made into a traveling exhibit and is touring the State of Indiana.
