Sylvia J. Hyde

A world traveler, Sylvia J. Hyde retired from teaching to live in Warsaw, Indiana, just down the road from her grandchildren. She sews costumes and quilts while dreaming up new stories to tell. She loves to read, to play board games, and to watch children making music, performing theater, and playing sports.

 

She hopes her DisCovery Club stories will introduce readers to the wonder of science in all its forms just as The Magic in the Music series introduces the wonder of classical symphonic music to a new generation. She hopes that stories of time travel to far lands will encourage them to explore the marvels in the far corners of their world.
